Visual Designer Job at On Me in San Francisco

This role is hybrid in San Francisco or New York (3+ days in the office). We do not sponsor visas. Your responsibility will be to shape the vision for our visual brand and execute everything necessary to move us in that direction. You will create and iterate high‑quality assets across digital contexts, maintain brand consistency, and work closely with product and engineering.

Compensation

• Base pay range: $110,000–$160,000 per year.
• Additional compensation: annual bonus and stock options.

On Me is revolutionizing gifting for the mobile and Instagram era. We offer a personalized, media‑rich gifting experience that can be sent directly to a mobile wallet. Since launching in November 2024, we have raised $8 million from investors such as NFX, Lerer Hippeau, Focal.VC, and Mastercard.
We’re a fast‑growing, small startup founded by former Google and Apple employees.

About the Role

Your north star goal will be to shape the vision for our visual brand. Overseen by our community, you will ensure every touchpoint delivers a magical experience. Collaborate with the product, engineering, and marketing teams.

Portfolio Requirements

• Strong consumer‑facing work that has shipped and reached delighted users.
• Experience in digital contexts: apps, websites, social media, newsletters. (OOH campaigns are welcome.)
• Breadth and versatility across illustration, photography, and other media.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundations in typography, color, and composition.
  • Experience creating or contributing to brand guidelines and asset libraries.
  • Ability to design high‑quality assets on tight timelines.
  • Experience building systems that scale.

  • Receptive to feedback with a growth mindset and low ego.
  • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team.
• Proficiency
  • Figma proficiency (required).
