As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and support a collaborative team culture. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter potential issues and observing for unusual activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to maintain a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom setting. Follow instructions and protocols specific to the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
