OVERVIEW Design/Layout Production Technicians play a major role in our day‑to‑day business and will prepare and create the customer proofs, production sequencing, shop drawings, complete revisions, and final artwork for production. The ideal candidate for this position has previous design/production layout experience in the signage, exhibition or print industry, is well organized, able to multitask, has attention to detail and communicates effectively with a wide variety of personalities. We are currently seeking candidates for Graphic Designer positions ranging from Level 2 to Level 4. Each level offers unique challenges and opportunities for growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Works closely with sales team to prepare proofs, layouts production sequences

Collaborate with all departments to bring projects through from design to fabrication team with a large focus on process and customer requirements

Strong proponent for timely deadlines and adhering to schedules

Ownership of upcoming assignments and schedules, raising concerns and proposing solutions to ensure on‑time delivery

Identifies project changes and communicates the effects to all stakeholders

Work efficiently within our software programs, Adobe Illustrator, Excel and Gravostyle

Designer L-2 (Junior) Responsibilities

Create and modify basic technical designs.

Assist in the preparation of graphic projects.

Perform data entry and layout tasks.

Collaborate with senior designers on complex projects.

Designer L-3 (Advanced) Responsibilities

Design a wide variety of projects, including one‑of‑a‑kind assignments.

Create layouts from provided data and documentation.

Work on assignments with general instructions and occasional spot checks.

Offer creative solutions to design challenges.

Designer L-4 (Senior) Responsibilities

Tackle complex and varied design projects.

Apply unique and innovative design techniques.

Determine design standards and manufacturing details.

Work independently with minimal technical supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast paced, changing environment

Able to stay calm and focused when hurdles arise during project lifecycleTechnical aptitude required to read and comprehend architectural/mechanical drawings

Strong time management

Attention to detail

A keen eye for typography, color, kerning and layout

Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities

Experience with previous ERP systems and ADA regulatory sign compliance is a plus
