Opportunity We are looking for a detail‑oriented design professional to provide support in the process design of large industrial and commercial facilities. You will develop engineering drafting and design competencies, consultation, and problem‑solving skills in a collaborative environment.
Position Reports directly to the Manager of Process Layout and assists in the development of projects from preliminary design through construction documents. Responsibilities include:
Apply knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) and computer‑aided design (CAD) to execute assigned modelling/drafting tasks for team members and clients.
Create and manage Plant 3D project setups, specifications, catalogs, and templates.
Assist in the continuous improvement of Plant 3D workflows, standards, and libraries.
Manage department standards for piping specifications, P&IDs, 3D content, isometric/orthographic symbols & standards.
Work proactively across multi‑discipline design teams.
Qualifications
A.S. in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience required.
AutoCAD Plant 3D proficiency required; Revit experience is a plus.
Detail‑oriented with sharp attention to design quality.
Proven self‑starter with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
