Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need
Associate’s degree in Computer‑Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field
2–5 years of professional experience in industrial drafting and design
Basic experience or familiarity with preparing design drawings across all project phases, from schematic design through construction documentation, including associated project deliverables.
Experience with semiconductor tool installation
Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills for client meetings and team collaboration
Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor’s degree in CADD or related field
Revit experience
Experience with innovative or complex design projects
Prior experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
Strong presentation and graphic skills
Experience on small and large teams
Experience with project scoping and development
Experience with NavisWorks and/or Revit BIM software
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability for forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and to contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base
Passion for buildings and construction
Other Requirements Location
This is an on‑site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Manassas, VA.
Candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday‑Friday during normal business hours—nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm—with some flexibility based on the ability of the site to support and employee preference.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑Day Tasks and Routines
Create layout designs in AutoCAD for tool installation projects
Work directly with the client to ensure machine layouts follow code, building standards, and client standards.
Field verify layouts to ensure accuracy of designs
Measure and record factory areas for as‑building purposes
Present designs during review meetings and explain decisions made during design process
Comments/Special Instructions Candidates must be able to work on‑site in Manassas.
