Marketing Analytics & Data Science Manager

Position Overview The successful candidate will combine strong communication skills, the proven ability to develop models and manage deliverables, and hands on technical expertise across Python, R, SQL, large data platforms such as Spark and Hadoop, and cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a 3-person team of Data Scientists by setting goals, performance standards, and delivery expectations.
Manage multiple concurrent analytics initiatives, ensuring high quality, on time delivery across marketing use cases.
Design and review predictive and statistical models using Python and R, ensuring rigor, relevance, and responsible use.
Apply machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference techniques to optimize campaign performance and marketing ROI.
Oversee end to end analytics workflows including data extraction and transformation with SQL and large-scale platforms such as Spark and Hadoop.
Partner with data engineering teams to operationalize models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) with scalable, production ready pipelines.
Lead development of advanced marketing analytics including customer segmentation, lifetime value modeling, attribution, and channel performance analysis.
Establish robust testing frameworks such as A/B and multivariate testing to measure marketing effectiveness.
Translate complex analytical insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders and business stakeholders.
Champion modern analytics tooling, best practices, and continuous improvement across the marketing analytics function.

Target Annual Compensation: $180k - $200k
