In This Role In this role, you will research and define best-practice migration paths for moving Windows Server workloads from on-premises environments to the cloud. You will develop high-level, customer-facing guidance that explains the benefits, patterns, and approaches that enable successful cloud adoption. You will work closely with internal product stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the content aligns with cloud strategy, technical accuracy, and customer needs. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on server and migration experience, clear technical writing, and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Research and document Windows Server–to–cloud migration strategies, architectures, and best-practice patterns

Develop customer-facing technical content such as migration guidance, solution overviews, FAQs, and enablement materials

Translate complex server and cloud concepts into clear, consumable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences

Collaborate with internal product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy

Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously refine and improve content quality

Align published guidance with broader cloud adoption and migration strategies

Deliver high-quality content on tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and clarity

Support remote collaboration across time zones as needed

Required Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server technologies in enterprise environments

8+ years of experience supporting or leading on-premises to cloud migration initiatives

Strong understanding of server workloads, infrastructure, and hybrid/cloud architectures

Proven experience developing customer-facing technical or marketing content

Ability to clearly explain technical concepts through written documentation

Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and technical stakeholders

Strong attention to detail with a focus on content quality and technical accuracy

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience migrating Windows Server workloads to cloud platforms

Familiarity with cloud migration frameworks, patterns, and modernization approaches

Experience creating published guidance such as blogs, whitepapers, solution briefs, or enablement documentation

Background working with large enterprise customers on infrastructure or migration initiatives

Ability to quickly synthesize SME input and enhance it using hands-on customer experience

Experience supporting hybrid environments that include both Windows and Linux servers

Salary Range Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $120,000- $130,000 USD annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
