About the Position The adjunct applied Musical Theater Voice professor will teach individualized lessons, starting January 2026.
Responsibilities
Teach Applied Musical Theater Voice lessons
Provide weekly studio class
Participate in recruitment for the Musical Theater Voice Studio
Adjudicate Musical Theater Voice Juries
Participate in Musical Theater initiatives
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Music or equivalent professional experience
Successful experience teaching at the college level
Established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances
Preferred Qualifications
Successful experience teaching vocal techniques for musical theater styles
Piano skills sufficient for accompanying voice students in lessons
Experience teaching students to build technical proficiency and repertoire across the genre
Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population of artists, students, faculty, staff, and community members
