Director, Segment Marketing (CRM) We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. As Director, Segment Marketing, you will be responsible for driving key business KPIs through strategic CRM marketing across email, push notifications, in‑product placements, and landing pages.

In This Role, You Will

Lead strategic planning, business casing, and optimal delivery of global CRM campaigns across Expedia, Hotels.com, and VRBO brands

Drive performance across key objectives including transactions, member retention, app downloads, sign‑ups, product attach, and credit card applications

Identify and evaluate new program opportunities using traveler behavior, market trends, and data insights

Collaborate with MarTech and Data Science teams to develop machine learning models that deliver personalized content

Manage and mentor a team of 5–6 CRM experts, including people managers

Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to TEaL and broader segment marketing teams, including SVP‑level stakeholders

Partner with Analytics and Data Science to uncover actionable insights and develop innovative campaigns that support Active Traveler goals

Represent TEaL in cross‑functional initiatives, advising on loyalty program communications and offer strategies across current and future capabilities

Experience And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field—or equivalent professional experience

10+ years of CRM experience, ideally in e‑commerce or online marketing

Proven ability to collaborate across Marketing, Analytics, MarTech, Creative, and Finance teams

Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing direct reports

Detail‑oriented with a track record of managing complex, time‑sensitive projects

Proficient in MS Office; experience with Jira, Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools is a plus

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $197,000.00 to $275,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $315,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
