ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, DIGITAL
Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Job Summary ZEALOT is committed to being the market leader in digital/social AV. Integral to our plans is expanding our West Coast capabilities adding a Digital AP.
The Associate Producer’s main function is to support the VP Digital and producers with the smooth running of their projects. The AP is cc’d on all external and internal emails to ensure the production line continues while the VP and producers are busy: actioning notes, taking client calls, ordering graphics and posting cuts to client.
As they develop, the AP will be assigned their own projects to produce and be responsible for.
Tasks
Monitoring all email and slack communications. Being across all communications so they are prepared to respond to client, editor or designer when questions arise
Resource Management – Scheduling and making sure all the editors and designers working on their projects are clear on what they doing and what their deadline is
Communication – relaying information in a timely manner with all internal stakeholders (editorial, graphics, finishing) to ensure everyone has the info they need to do their best work
Brainstorming – contributing creative ideas to pitches and jobs
Project Management – creating and updating project management tools like Google Sheets and Trello to ensure they are accurate for all stakeholders
KPI’s
Speed: Ensure information is sent internally and externally immediately to minimize crossed wires and downtime
Organization: make sure all jobs run efficiently and are organized
Collaboration: Work positively with editors, graphic designers and CDs and sharing resources with fellow producers
Team Harmony: Show you can work well with others and have positive influence on our work culture
Communication: have excellent written and verbal communication and make sure no-one is unclear about what they are supposed to be doing and when they are meant to be doing it
Creative Judgement: have the creative judgment to develop work with editors/designers and to know when to call in the Creative Director
Profit: Ensure each digital project hits our profit targets
Client Service: Make sure every client is happy.
In addition, the ideal candidate will:
2+ years of experience in a Production Coordinator or Associate Producer role within digital, social, or post-production environments
Familiarity with short-form and mid-form digital video, including social cutdowns, trailers, teasers, and platform-specific versions
Have a working understanding of the digital post-production workflow, including briefing, asset trafficking, versioning, QC, approvals, and delivery
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines across multiple platforms and campaigns.
Possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assets, timelines, and deliverables across concurrent digital campaigns
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional digital, creative, and media teams. Be self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow within a digital production team
Have a strong interest in digital and social-first content creation across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms
Understand how creative assets are adapted, versioned, and optimized for different aspect ratios, runtimes, specs, and placements (feed, stories, reels, shorts, paid vs. organic)
Be passionate about Film & TV marketing and how audiences engage with entertainment content across digital platforms
Be highly collaborative, proactive, and consistently one step ahead in anticipating production needs for editors, designers, and producers
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when working with editors, creative directors, producers, community teams, media teams, clients, and freelancers
Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, remaining calm and solution-oriented while managing last-minute changes
Be detail-oriented and capable of tracking platform specs, naming conventions, file versions, captions, subtitles, and delivery requirements
Be able to interpret creative briefs and campaign strategy, translating them into clear production plans that support high-performing digital content
