This is a full-time, on-site Truss Design Manager position based in Eau Claire, WI. The Truss Design Manager will oversee the design and development of trusses for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team of truss designers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of truss designs, collaborating with manufacturing and construction teams, and monitoring compliance with relevant building codes and standards. The role requires a focus on continuous improvement, effective team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Qualifications
Proficiency in truss design software, structural design software, and CAD tools Strong understanding of building codes, structural engineering principles, and truss manufacturing processes Leadership, team management, and effective communication skills Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production and construction stakeholders Problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field Previous experience in truss design or structural design management roles is preferred
