About the Role As a Senior Marketing Manager | Beauty, you will lead marketing strategy development, planning & execution and oversee owned brand activation while spearheading new initiatives to better serve our guests. You will translate business goals and guest insights into actionable and measurable marketing strategies, manage relationships with internal teams, agencies and external partners, and leverage the channel expertise of a broad cross‑functional team. Your ability to bring teams together to create holistic and effective marketing plans will enable us to meet the guest where they are.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategy for Beauty categories.

Translate business goals and guest insights into actionable, measurable strategies.

Manage relationships with internal teams, agencies and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Leverage data to draft compelling strategy and assess work against defined objectives.

Shape strategic narratives to gain buy‑in from marketing leaders, external and enterprise partners.

Qualifications

Four‑year degree required, Marketing emphasis or major preferred.

8+ years of related work experience.

Proven track record of driving successful strategic marketing strategy and bias for action to deliver flawless execution instrumental to enterprise success.

Curiosity and drive to deeply understand guest needs, segmentation and the business, and the ability to analyze, interpret and synthesize data into a compelling story.

Tenacity and courage to champion bold ideas, consistently strive to improve the work, learn from results and be the voice of the guest and business.

Proven leadership skills and ability to collaboratively engage key stakeholders across the organization at the right times to complex solve problems, while keeping partners informed, engaged and involved along the way.

Strong creative and media acumen with ability to leverage data to draft a compelling strategy and assess work against the defined strategy & objectives.

Beauty Marketing, brand or agency experience preferred.

Work Arrangement This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. The core role may be performed both onsite at the Target HQ in MN and virtually, depending on the day’s responsibilities. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the United States unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
