Social Media Specialist
We are seeking a Social Media Specialist for a financial services company (asset management/hedge fund). This is a 5‑day a week in‑office role at a midtown location, with possibility to move to a 4/1 hybrid option.
Base Pay Range $125,000 – $135,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Oversee social channel strategy (LinkedIn, X, YouTube), content pillars, success metrics, posting cadence, and experimentation across copy, creative, audience, and placements to build brand visibility and engagement.
Write on‑brand copy for all social channels and coordinate creation of graphic elements with the internal design team.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to amplify key launches, campaigns, and brand moments on social media.
Maintain adherence to brand standards and social policies across channels, including brand guidelines, tone of voice, style, design guidelines, UTM/tagging hygiene, and compliance approvals.
Own paid social strategy, budgets, and performance targets.
Translate internal requirements into paid social briefs and oversee end‑to‑end execution (setup, QA, launch, pacing/optimizations, performance reporting).
Collaborate with channel marketing, sales, web team, and stakeholders to ensure paid social strategy, audience targeting, creative direction, landing‑page optimization, and success metrics are aligned.
Establish measurement standards: define source of truth, enforce UTM/tagging standards, and ensure necessary pixels are implemented to connect campaigns to outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management or hedge funds.
Proven success managing social media strategy and paid social campaigns.
Strong written communication skills and ability to craft engaging copy.
Knowledge of UTM parameters, pixel implementation, and performance measurement.
Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
