About the Role We are looking for a technically strong Engineer to build the next generation of GenAI-powered business solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Microsoft Power Platform and Generative AI.
You won’t just be configuring standard bots; you will be engineering complex solutions that integrate Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and enterprise data.
This is a hands‑on technical role ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in platform engineering (2+ years) and is ready to apply those skills to real‑world AI production workflows. You will work independently on deliverables while collaborating with senior architects on complex integrations.
What You Will Do
Build GenAI Solutions: Design and deploy chatbots and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, managing the full lifecycle from prompt engineering to topic configuration and flow design.
Engineer the Logic: Create robust Power Automate flows to handle data processing and business logic that powers the AI front‑end.
Advanced Integration: Connect AI solutions to structured and unstructured data using RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) patterns, Azure OpenAI, and REST APIs.
Code & Script: Write light Python or PowerShell scripts for automation, data preparation, or testing, and utilize frameworks like LangChain where necessary.
Refine & Improve: Continuously test prompt logic and system instructions to improve the quality, accuracy, and safety of AI responses.
Collaborate: Work directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements and participate in client‑facing working sessions.
Required Qualifications
2-3+ years of technical experience in software development, platform engineering, or automation.
Core Tech: Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is required.
AI Experience: Proven experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) or similar GenAI orchestration tools.
Cloud Skills: Working knowledge of Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Functions, Logic Apps, or Storage).
Technical Versatility: Ability to write and debug basic code (Python or PowerShell) and understand API integrations.
Location: Must be a resident of Southern California.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or Python AI SDKs.
Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
Microsoft Certifications (PL‑100, PL‑200, or PL‑400).
Prior experience in a consulting or client‑facing engineering role.
Why This Role? This position moves beyond simple "drag‑and‑drop" development. It offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge AI patterns (like RAG and Azure OpenAI) while grounded in a stable, enterprise‑grade platform. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in both traditional cloud architecture and the emerging field of AI engineering.
