The Role This is a senior, hands‑on position for an experienced designer or architect who can lead a variety of project types independently, manage and mentor designers, and actively contribute to business growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping design direction, client experience, and the future of the firm across
hospitality, gaming, medical, and office space projects .
What You’ll Do
Lead commercial interior design and architectural projects from concept through construction.
Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact.
Oversee design development, documentation, and consultant coordination.
Manage and mentor junior and mid‑level designers/architects.
Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Bring in new work through existing relationships, networking, and referrals.
Represent NuVu Interiors at client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Support proposals, interviews, and business development efforts.
What We’re Looking For
8–12+ years of commercial interior design or architectural experience.
Proven experience leading projects and managing designers/architects.
Strong client‑facing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to bring in work and contribute to firm growth.Proficiency in
Revit .
Solid understanding of building codes, permitting, and consultant coordination.
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a boutique studio environment.
Experience or interest in hospitality, gaming, medical, and office space projects is highly valued.
