Director of Affiliate Marketing Our client, a

clean beauty brand , is hiring a director to build, lead, and scale a best‑in‑class affiliate program across all customer touchpoints, including direct‑to‑consumer, social commerce, and retail‑adjacent channels.

This is a hybrid role (2 days a week in‑office in

Los Angeles, CA , and 3 days work from home). The ideal candidate is both strategic and analytical, with a proven ability to launch, optimize, and scale affiliate programs in a fast‑moving environment and a strong understanding of the beauty and creator economy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and own a comprehensive affiliate roadmap aligned with revenue goals, product launches, and broader brand initiatives

Lead and manage multiple affiliate networks, tailoring strategy by channel while maintaining consistent brand positioning

Expand the affiliate ecosystem beyond traditional partners by launching premium, incremental partnerships, including content‑driven publishers, creator‑led performance programs, and community platforms

Position affiliate marketing within the broader digital mix to ensure complementary, incremental growth rather than channel cannibalization

Set and track annual and quarterly performance targets tied to revenue, new customer acquisition, ROI, and contribution margin

Build and scale a diverse portfolio of high‑performing, brand‑aligned affiliate partners across content, commerce, loyalty, and emerging platforms

Negotiate custom programs, placements, and commercial terms that drive incrementality and brand visibility

Serve as a senior point of contact for key partners, representing the brand as a top‑tier affiliate advertiser

Continuously evaluate partner quality, brand alignment, and compliance

Partner with Digital, Brand, Influencer, and Retail Marketing teams to translate launch calendars into high‑impact affiliate plans

Own affiliate promotional strategy, including exclusives, offers, sampling, gifting, and special activations

Optimize performance through commission structures, partner segmentation, and conversion levers

Champion a test‑and‑learn mindset across partners, placements, landing pages, messaging, and offers

Track and analyze KPIs including EMV, revenue, CAC, ROI, AOV, new versus returning customers, and incrementality

Build clear reporting frameworks that surface insights, performance narratives, and opportunities for scale

Forecast channel performance and provide data‑driven recommendations on investment and prioritization

Collaborate closely with Digital, Brand Marketing, Influencer & PR, Retail Marketing, Creative, Sales, Finance, and Operations

Manage and develop agency relationships, setting clear expectations, goals, and performance standards

Ensure all affiliate activity aligns with brand standards, launch strategies, and customer experience

Job Qualifications

10+ years of digital marketing experience, including 5+ years leading affiliate marketing programs (beauty, fashion, or lifestyle strongly preferred)

Proven success scaling affiliate revenue profitably within a DTC and/or omnichannel business

Deep understanding of the affiliate ecosystem, including content publishers, loyalty/cashback platforms, deal sites, shopping engines, and creator performance networks

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategy

Experience negotiating complex partner agreements and managing high‑value relationships

Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong interest in beauty, digital culture, and emerging trends, with a keen eye for partners that drive credibility and conversation

Salary Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr – $170,000.00/yr. Additional compensation: annual bonus.
