Senior Communications Manager, Marketing
Location: New York, NY (In‑office 4x per week @ NoMad NYC)

About the Role Help define how the world understands Kizen and how our AI can deliver real outcomes for enterprises. We are looking for a hands‑on Communications Manager, Marketing with a history of turning complex products into clear stories that earn attention, trust, and demand as we bring our next‑gen platform to the world. In this dynamic role, you’ll work directly with our VP of Marketing to shape Kizen’s narrative, launch strategy, and external voice — from press and thought leadership to product storytelling and customer proof.
Key Responsibilities
Own Kizen’s messaging and narrative; develop and maintain a clear messaging architecture (value prop, pillars, proof points, competitive positioning) that works for IT decision‑makers and c‑suite audiences.
Build messaging frameworks, FAQs, talk tracks, and pitch narratives.
Ensure consistency across website, decks, social, PR, events, and sales materials.
Partner with product/engineering to translate "how it works" into "why it matters".
Lead launch communications; run planning for launches and major moments.
Write and coordinate press releases, launch blogs, and announcement toolkits.
Align internal stakeholders (executives, engineering, sales) to hit timelines and approvals.
Manage launch calendars, channel plans, and post‑launch measurement.
Own our social media channels as part of the overall brand communications strategy.
Build and run a consistent PR engine that increases visibility and credibility in enterprise AI, automation, and our verticals.
Develop story angles, pitch narratives, and a proactive media calendar.
Build relationships with reporters/editors and manage inbound press.
Write press releases, media briefs, Q&As, and spokesperson prep.
Track coverage quality, message pull‑through, sentiment, and share of voice.
Build executive thought leadership and credibility.
Help our leaders show up with clarity and consistency, especially in the AI narrative.
Draft and edit executive LinkedIn posts, articles, and speaking abstracts.
Create talking points for events, podcasts, webinars, and customer meetings.
Maintain a proactive "ideas pipeline" tied to real customer outcomes.
Requirements
8+ years in communications, content marketing, PR, or brand communications (B2B required).
Experience positioning technical products for enterprise buyers (SaaS, AI, data, workflow, automation, devtools a plus).
Proven ability to translate complex concepts into crisp, credible messaging.
Strong writing and editing skills across formats: PR, exec voice, web copy, customer stories, internal toolkits.
Launch experience (product, partnership, funding, major announcements) with cross‑functional coordination.
Comfort working directly with executives and shaping thought leadership in their authentic voice.
Strong project management skills: timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and parallel workstreams.
Familiarity with PR workflows: media lists, pitching, briefing docs, and coverage measurement.
Strong judgment and attention to detail, especially in sensitive or high‑visibility moments.
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment and shift priorities without losing clarity.
Collaborative working style with sales, engineering, and customer teams.
Data‑informed mindset: able to set goals and measure comms outcomes (coverage quality, engagement, pipeline influence).

Base salary range: $145,000 – $200,000. Total on‑target earnings (OTE): $195,750 – $270,000. Compensation may also include equity and benefits.
