Klosh Group is hiring a Sales and Marketing Manager to close $1.5M of sales annually across key West Coast and Mountain West markets. This role is built for a modern growth organization – one that wins through market intelligence, targeted pursuit development, and coordinated sales execution, not reliance on individual rainmakers.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships across private and public sectors, including developers, institutions, municipalities, corporate clients, and architectural partners.
Manage the full BD lifecycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, pursuit strategy, and deal closure.
Clearly articulate Klosh’s value proposition, Owner’s Representative expertise, and project delivery capabilities (CMGC, Design‑Build, Lump Sum, etc.).
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, developers, architects, GCs, and public agencies across targeted markets.
Support RFQ/RFP pursuits alongside the leadership team, including helping define strengths/weaknesses, client touchpoints, and win themes.
Represent the firm at select industry events, conferences, and client meetings, serving as an ambassador for Klosh’s brand, vision, and capabilities.
Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging opportunities, trends, competitor activity, client needs, and funding sources across OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, and beyond.
Track and analyze public/private development activity, project announcements, capital programs, and RFQ/RFP pipelines.
Prepare data‑driven recommendations on target markets, sectors, partnerships, and service‑line/geographic expansion opportunities.
Develop regular market, pipeline, and intelligence reports for leadership.
Strategic Growth Support
Partner with leadership to inform annual revenue goals, target pursuits, and long‑term strategic growth plans.
Contribute to marketing and brand‑building initiatives including case studies, website content, messaging, and promotional materials.
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM hygiene (Zoho), ensuring visibility into BD activity, forecasting, trends, and conversion rates.
Provide insight into market trends, competitor activity, client sentiment, and utilization‑based ecosystem dynamics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field.
5–7+ years of business development, client relations, or senior sales experience in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate development, or related professional services.
Proven track record of winning and securing work in the AEC or Owner’s Rep industry.
Strong understanding of project delivery methods (CMGC, Design‑Build, Lump‑Sum) and how services are sold in the built environment.
Existing network of client, partner, and industry relationships across the Pacific Northwest strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, travel regionally, and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient with CRM platforms (Zoho preferred), Microsoft Office, and basic data research/analysis tools.
Location & Travel Remote / Field‑Based (Pacific Northwest preferred; some travel required across OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, and potentially beyond)
Compensation Competitive base salary + performance‑based bonus tied to acquired revenue + annual incentive plan
