We’re looking for a reporter with strong investigative instincts, a compassionate approach, and the creativity to turn real‑world viewer concerns into compelling storytelling. This is a role for someone who loves solutions as much as they love storytelling—someone who can take complex issues, break them down clearly, and guide people toward answers.
What You’ll Do
Investigate viewer complaints, consumer issues, and community concerns
Identify trends, track down answers, and deliver solutions that make a difference
Create, write, shoot, and edit stories for broadcast, digital, and social platforms
Provide clear, empathetic on‑air reporting that empowers audiences
Hold businesses, agencies, and institutions accountable—fairly and accurately
Build strong relationships with viewers and community partners
Work closely with Producers, Editors, Anchors, & News Directors to elevate your reporting
What You Bring
A passion for helping people and uncovering meaningful solutions
Strong investigative instincts and the ability to follow a trail until it leads somewhere
Experience working with newsroom systems and media production tools
Excellent writing, research, and storytelling skills
5 years of experience in reporting (consumer or investigative experience a plus)
The ability to stay organized, calm, and focused when deadlines are tight
A commitment to accuracy, fairness, and ethical journalism
