Key Responsibilities
Assist with public relations, communications, and marketing in the arts.
Lead events planning and logistics, including paperwork, catering, security, advertising, coordinating volunteers, purchases, event setup and breakdown.
Internal and external communications; video production and photo documentation/archives.
Assist with NASAD protocol and preparation.
Build partnerships and collaborations; increase and expand social media presence and community engagement.
Manage off‑campus events in addition to on‑campus events, both evening and weekend exhibitions.
Oversee the new Ernest G. Welch Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series, coordinating paperwork, travel, lodging, supervising the VAS graduate assistant, scheduling, publishing posts, arranging equipment, and coordinating live streams.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience; or high school diploma or GED and eight years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of social media platforms and trending technology.
Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
