Marketing Specialist at DAG Architects in Atlanta, GA.
We are actively recruiting for a detail‑oriented Marketing Specialist for our Atlanta studio. This role will support business acquisition efforts of DAG Architects within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry. The specialist will be heavily involved in the full lifecycle of Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) and proposal production, including editing, graphics, ensuring compliance, and coordinating final delivery. Key responsibilities also include conducting market research on clients, competitors, and trends, contributing to CRM data maintenance, and actively managing the content library of prior proposals, boilerplate text, and visuals.
The ideal candidate has five to seven years of relevant A/E/C experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, OpenAsset, and PowerPoint. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in our Atlanta studio. The position reports directly to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
Monitor and track industry‑related market information to support business development efforts.
Contribute to CRM data entry and maintenance, including information on clients, consultants, personnel, and pursuit history.
Gather research data related to clients, competitors, past, current, and prospective markets, and relevant corporate experience.
Maintain list of relevant resources and achieve proficiency in understanding applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliant RFQ/RFP responses.
Prepare or assemble written and visual information for client presentations.
Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and status.
Help produce SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction.
Identify and monitor SOQ/proposal criteria, ensuring responses are fully compliant.
Handle production and arrange for on‑time delivery of SOQs/proposals.
Gather content from team and consultants as needed.
Track pre‑submittal meeting schedules and attendees, identifying decision‑makers.
Record and distribute notes from pre‑submittal and public sector meetings.
Maintain systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of basic marketing and business development principles.
Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with various leadership levels.
Exceptional time‑management skills.
Basic knowledge of go/no‑go decision processes.
Experience with SOQ/proposal production, including both digital preparation and printing/binding.
Proficiency with software and technologies used for developing client presentations and communications, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Education/Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Five to seven years of relevant A/E/C experience required.
Experience working daily in Creative Cloud, OpenAsset, and PowerPoint.
