The Product Marketing Manager supports the broader category by owning a specific product segment within it. This role is responsible for segment-level product planning, insights gathering, performance tracking, and supporting the commercialization of new products. They partner closely with cross functional team members to ensure the segment aligns with the overall category strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for successful adoption and growth of Travel, Jogger and Double Stroller categories and coordinating accessories.
Responsible for universal stroller accessories new development and sustainable efforts.
Responsible for margin contribution for dedicated business segments.
Responsible for artwork development needs for packaging, user manual and product labels with in-house graphic designers.
Develop and presents global project briefs with detailed product requirements, including target launch timing and cost.
Monitor KPI requirements throughout the development process.
Responsible for child fits and consumer evaluation, identifying areas for improvement with development team.
Serves as a core team member, collaborating with members across Design, Quality, Engineering and Program Management.
Partner with Brand Marketing on content development and launch support assets.
Maintain a global understanding of the category, competitive and consumer trends.
Responsible for setting target cost based on margin goals.
Oversees accuracy of product information and specs referenced by Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience partners.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to be hands-on through the development process
Strong communication, interpersonal and product demo skills
Comfortable with presenting to Leadership levels
Conducted consumer research and marketplace analysis
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Management
5+ years in product marketing or product development, preferably at a consumer goods company
Previous experience working on brand and products with global presence a plus
Salary - $110,000 - $120,000
