The eCommerce Senior Analyst stewards client eCommerce initiatives for assigned brands, monitoring and maintaining campaign development, activation, and innovation across Amazon and other marketplaces. The analyst applies a deep understanding of Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings and Amazon Media Group (AMG) services, aligning tactics to accelerate Amazon growth and support client objectives. Responsibilities
Gather research to build new campaigns focusing on client strategy and growth via AMS and AMG services. Continuously learn evolving eCommerce retail environment, industry trends, ad formats, and new tools. Assist the manager in gathering data for plan development. Generate paperwork for purchase authorization and secure vendor counter signatures. Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments. Actively monitor and manage performance and competitive landscape. Optimize eCommerce performance to meet business objectives. Complete training programs and required certifications. Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups. Group keywords into ad groups and develop relevant ad copy and extensions. Present recommendations, solicit client feedback, and apply feedback prior to client signoff. Build flowchart and load authorized buys in Prisma upon campaign approval. Traffick approved plan into search engines and maintain approval status. Develop and implement optimizations and testing plans (search query reports, negative keyword maintenance, keyword overlap, testing implementation). Pull and analyze data to inform campaign reporting and develop strategic insights. Run campaign QA process to ensure accurate implementation, pacing, and performance. Build clear, concise, quantitative analyses with strong data visualization. Participate in client status and reporting calls, presenting reporting. Maintain monthly billing cycle, tracking invoices, buy actualization in Prisma, and compile draft billing for manager approval. Resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team. Learn relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis (bid management platforms, Benchtools, Google Trends). Master core metric calculations and relationships (CPC, CPA, CTR, SOV, weighted averages). Serve as subject matter expert for analysts and provide training and ad hoc support. Establish professional rapport with sales representatives and media vendors. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in marketing, advertising, business, engineering, statistics, economics, sociology, or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in bid management, paid search campaign development, management, and optimization on leading search platforms. Experience with AMS Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings and AMG services or similar marketplaces and tools. Strong understanding of eCommerce required. Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills with ability to manage data. Understanding of Search PPC and digital display advertising. Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual able to work independently and in a team setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Additional Information
