Associate Media Buyer
Pay: $26/hr | 40 hours/week | Duration: Through Nov 2026
The Associate Media Buyer is responsible for buying and managing digital media on demand‑side platforms and vendor‑direct media companies for domestic markets for theme parks and internal clients/business units. The role collaborates with Media Buyers and Managers on reporting, communication, media analysis, and other related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Understand business strategy and apply it to campaign execution.
Support buyers and managers in media campaign execution including vendor selection, budget management, insertion order issuance and confirmation, and campaign setup/management.
Set up media buys within DV360, Yahoo DSP and Amazon DSP; create tag requests for media placements within Google Campaign Manager.
Run small‑scale media campaigns from start to finish; send RFPs, draft insertion orders, negotiate with vendors, and work on multiple campaigns concurrently.
Migrate daily campaign quality assurance and budget monitoring tasks.
Coordinate securing and trafficking creative assets.
Strategically develop, manage, and execute media campaigns.
Complete weekly campaign activity reports/analysis, reconcile and manage media budgets.
Develop and maintain optimization timelines and creative asset trackers; troubleshoot discrepancies and recommend resolutions.
Collaborate on trimester and annual plans for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
1+ years of media planning and buying experience.
Experience with third‑party tracking, serving and attribution technologies such as Google Campaign Manager, Display & Video 360, Yahoo Media DSP, or similar.
Basic knowledge of in‑platform programmatic buying, audience creation, campaign management, and optimization techniques.
Baseline strategic planning skills with the ability to prioritize and articulate paid media initiatives.
Additional Requirements
Expertise in DV360 platform, AB split testing, programmatic media buying, and Google campaign experience.
