**DIGITAL EDITOR/VIDEOGRAPHER (MORNING) – KTIV**
Gray Media invites applications for a creative, aggressive visual storyteller to join KTIV, the award‑winning NBC affiliate serving North‑West Iowa, East‑Nebraska, and South‑East South Dakota. This is an early‑morning shift position based at Gray Media headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, but the video work will be primarily on the KTIV site.

Job Summary KTIV seeks a self‑motivated visual storyteller with journalism or communication training.
The role involves gathering video and interview content, editing for broadcast and digital/social platforms, executing live shots during shifts, monitoring scanners and social media for breaking news, and collaborating with reporters and management.
The position is tailored for an early‑morning schedule.
Responsibilities
Capture and edit high‑quality video footage for broadcast and digital media.
Respond aggressively to breaking news and communicate updates to news staff and management.
Meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, pressure‑intensive environment.
Execute multiple live shots per shift, setting up and managing production equipment.
Gather information, conduct interviews, and perform online research as needed.
Collaborate effectively with reporters, producers, and other team members.
Qualifications
Prior video shooting and editing experience (preferred).
Strong photography and non‑linear editing skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete the Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
Computer literacy and proficiency with production and editing software.
Ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision.
