GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity startup founded by early investors including GitHub co‑founder Scott Chacon and Docker co‑founder Solomon Hykes, with backing from top‑tier VC firms. We develop a Non Human‑Identity Security platform for large organizations, used by over 600K developers worldwide and the number 1 app on the GitHub marketplace.
We are seeking a dynamic, technical Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team.
Your Mission
Act as the glue between product, sales, and marketing, driving success and results.
Own positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy before a product or feature launch.
Create launch plans and content.
Develop high‑quality marketing assets including blogs, videos, and white papers.
Drive demand, adoption, and overall product success post‑launch.
Manage positioning from build to enablement.
Conduct competitive intelligence to inform the team.
Develop vertical messaging for specific industries.
Create a marketing plan in partnership with the marketing team.
Serve as the primary thought leader for the products, including speaking engagements and written works.
Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Manager to build sales tools and training programs.
Must‑have Skills
Proven product‑marketing experience in DevOps or cybersecurity.
Technical comprehension of DevOps and/or application security.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear value propositions.
Experience creating high‑impact, C‑level‑oriented assets.
Competitive intelligence experience at messaging and feature levels.
Comprehensive project‑management skills and multitasking ability.
Collaboration skills with cross‑functional, global teams.
Our Interview Process
Video call with Talent Acquisition.
Team interview with future manager (CMO).
Business case with CMO, Sales Leader, and another PMM.
Final interview with an Executive.

The salary range for this position is expected to be $150,000‑$175,000 per year. Actual compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and other qualifications. This range represents the expected base pay; additional equity and benefits may apply.
