Base pay range $95,000 – $148,000 per year

Join the Wearables Art team as a leader and help shape the future of spatial computing through a wide‑range of products. Meta Wearables is looking for a product‑minded Visual Designer to join the Product Creative team. Product Creative uses design and systems thinking to create the goals and experiences that make Meta Wearables trend‑setting, distinct, and loved by customers. You will play a key role in developing processes, fostering creativity and inclusivity and driving the team to delivering products.

Visual Designer Responsibilities

Concept, prototype and execute brand and marketing experiences in product

Clearly communicate strategic thinking and design decisions to a variety of partners

Give and solicit feedback from your product and UX design peers in service of building the best products

Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, content, research, marketing and data science, to take products from conception to launch

Deliver high‑craft work on multiple projects simultaneously, keep project timelines on track and show progress

Proactively identify and work on projects that span multiple teams. This may involve facilitating or co‑facilitating design sprints and workshops to kick off these projects

Collaborate with product designers and teams to understand goals and deliver high‑quality iconography

Develop and articulate clear ideas, concepts, and designs for creative assets from concept through execution

Partner with other designers to ensure a consistent and integrated brand perception and user experience

Translate product needs into visually compelling, and emotionally engaging designs

Manage and incorporate feedback from partners and stakeholders

Provide and solicit constructive feedback to continually elevate design quality

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in visual design, design systems, and applications across digital experiences on web, desktop, and mobile (iOS + Android)

A portfolio that demonstrates branding, product and communication design experience

Demonstrated experience working on a product team

Demonstrated experience in digital transformation and design system‑thinking

Proven experience designing and implementing icon systems at scale for large products or services

Experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Demonstrated collaboration experience with cross‑functional teams, resulting in improved consistency and quality across deliverables

Demonstrated success in elevating design standards and consistently driving quality through attention to detail

Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of conveying design direction clearly to both creative and non‑creative stakeholders

Proven track record of thriving in time‑sensitive environments, effectively prioritizing tasks, and managing time to meet deadlines

Up‑to‑date knowledge of visual design technologies and industry trends in fashion and technology

Experience collaborating with UX Researchers and applying research findings to inform design decisions

Familiarity with 3D design and motion/animation

Experience bringing ideas to life with high quality visuals or prototypes using creative software and other tools

Preferred Qualifications

Motion experience with AfterEffects or Cinema4D, especially Lottie

Experience with Origami Studio or any other prototyping tool

Experience in pursuing and developing work using emerging technologies, such as hardware, augmented reality, and virtual reality

Interested in embedding AI tools into your workflow

Compensation $95,000/year to $148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base compensation, Meta offers benefits.
