This role is integral to solving complex design challenges, creating engaging content, and exploring new design paradigms for digital products. You’ll work on innovative projects while collaborating with other creative and editorial teams. This is an individual contributor role that will directly impact the quality of work across our organization by delivering good design. The projects will be varied: design systems for brands, products, and screens, graphics and visuals for content placements, presentation and layout design, and design prototyping for new product features.
Base Pay Range:
$62.00/hr - $69.00/hr
Location & Schedule
Location: Culver City, CA
Schedule: In-Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F
Key Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Designer, Senior Designer, or Design Lead in a creative-focused agency or in-house at a leading brand.
A diverse portfolio of high-concept, visually engaging, and sophisticated creative work for major brands.
Portfolio required with examples of original design work that reflect a consistent, A+ taste level and excellent execution.
Direct experience in developing brand design systems, graphic design for editorial placements, and a wide range of digital content.
Understanding of the role that user-centered design and experience can play in visual storytelling.
Have experience developing visual prototypes and mockups for various platforms and use cases.
Can deliver impactful designs across multiple media and art styles, including illustration, graphic design, typography, etc.
Additional Requirements
Experience with mobile apps, websites, software, and other areas of digital outputs.
Deep knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Additional visual and motion design software proficiencies are a plus.
Demonstrates command of visual and communication design principles, including typography, brand identity, print design, and infographics.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Clear and concise communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work across time zones while juggling multiple projects at one time.
A meticulous eye for detail, quality, and craft.
