Graphic Designer (Hybrid) – Hyde Park, Chicago, IL Our client, a leader in higher education, is looking to hire a Graphic Designer. This role is hybrid onsite 2-3x per week in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and create graphic artwork, such as charts, graphs, or illustrations, for various publications, advertising materials and customers.

Research, develop and lead conceptual and stylistic direction for direct response campaigns.

Collaborate with managers, designers, editors, writers, and interactive developers to produce professionally designed materials that are in strategic alignment.

Contribute to creative critiques and brainstorms and support evaluation of team success.

Identify, negotiate with, and manage outside vendors such as printers, photographers, and illustrators.

Ensure that graphic projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree.

2+ years of experience in Graphic Design.

Extensive working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).

Desired Skills & Experience

Ability to create small scale animations and animated gifs using Adobe XD/After Effects highly valued!
