Sr. Design Manager The Role
As Designer II, Women’s Fashion Footwear for UGG, you’ll bring creative vision and technical expertise to the design and development of innovative, trend-forward women’s footwear. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver collections that embody the UGG brand’s commitment to quality, comfort, and style. Your work will help shape the future of women’s fashion footwear, ensuring each product meets design intent, seasonal direction, and brand standards. Your Impact
Design and develop original women’s fashion footwear concepts from ideation through final sample Research and interpret global fashion trends, materials, colors, and consumer insights to inform seasonal collections Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and CADs to communicate design intent Collaborate with Product Development, Materials, and Merchandising teams to ensure feasibility, cost, and quality Present concepts and collections to internal teams and leadership, incorporating feedback to refine designs Partner with vendors and suppliers to source innovative materials and components Ensure all designs align with UGG’s brand identity, sustainability goals, and premium craftsmanship standards Maintain accurate design documentation and support the creation of tech packs and BOMs Participate in fit sessions and sample reviews, providing feedback to achieve desired aesthetic and performance Support junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, creative team environment Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or related field 3+ years of experience in footwear design, preferably in women’s fashion or luxury footwear Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work and technical proficiency Deep understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes Skilled in trend forecasting, color theory, and material selection Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Passionate about fashion, innovation, and consumer experience Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed What We Offer
