Audio Visual Sales Manager – La Cantera Resort, San Antonio, TX The Sales Manager will sell Audio Visual equipment and services at the La Cantera Resort to capture maximum AV business and revenue. This position will also communicate directly with clients, the hotel, and the internal AV team to ensure meeting success.
What You Will Be Doing
Generate quotes, correspond with clients, and target revenue goals.
Work directly with the client to determine their meeting needs and match them to AV services and products.
Collaborate with hotel sales staff and others to contact upcoming clients and secure AV business.
Participate in on‑site and off‑site visits with prospective clients, as well as pre‑ and post‑event meetings.
Negotiate directly with clients to secure AV business and realize their vision.
Consult with AV staff on the selection and acquisition of AV equipment and labor.
Review final billing with the client and obtain approval of all AV charges.
Negotiate billing if necessary to ensure complete client satisfaction.
Follow up with all clients through thank‑you letters and post‑event service evaluations.
Requirements
5–6 years of experience in Audio Visual Sales.
Experience within the hospitality audio visual sales industry or with an audio visual company.
Excellent customer service, sales, and hospitality skills, with a proven record of building positive customer relationships and increasing satisfaction.
Strong knowledge of audio‑visual equipment capabilities, set‑up, and general operations.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, networking, IT device management, and PC/Mac operations.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written; clear, concise, sincere, and persuasive.
Creativity and initiative in capturing AV business.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a high‑volume, sometimes stressful team environment.
Ownership and self‑initiative, with a positive professional demeanor.
Flexibility to accommodate a changing work schedule (night, weekends, early mornings) as needed.
Ability to set an example for professional grooming and presentation standards as required by the hotel partner or specific worksite.
