Marketing Coordinator

Overview Neighborhood House is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our nonprofit organization. This role is essential in driving awareness, engagement, and support for our mission through strategic marketing initiatives across print, web, social media, and email platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement campaigns that promote our programs, events, and fundraising efforts across multiple platforms. This position reports to and works closely with the Development + Communications Director in all aspects of visibility for the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate interdepartmentally to promote Neighborhood House programs through print, web, social media, and email campaigns. Create a creative approach to capturing new audiences and a strategy to keep target audiences engaged.

Update the website calendar, events section, and campaigns; track website usage to enhance performance and reach.

Develop and execute annual workplan and marketing strategy, including media calendar.

Plan and execute creative social media activities, including writing compelling captions, gathering image and video content to strongly represent Neighborhood House's brand; track social media analytics to direct strategy.

Write, design, schedule and oversee community email marketing campaigns for volunteers and partners; keep updated lists and contacts for each audience group.

Write, design, schedule and oversee communications with clients through email, text, and print.

Work in concert with the Development Team to develop an annual media plan that focuses on donor cultivation and stewardship, promotes fundraising events, and elevates donor visibility in the community.

Attend community meetings and events to build connections and promote Neighborhood House programs and activities; support tabling events, recruitment fairs, community meetings, conferences, and networking events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish required.

Proficiency in developing concepts, graphics, and layouts, including decisions about fonts, images, readability, and audience needs.

Knowledge of photography and video techniques, photo‑editing software, and camera equipment.

Strong interpersonal and networking skills among diverse constituent groups.

Organized, detail oriented; skilled at prioritization and independent time management to meet deadlines.

Solutions oriented; able to problem‑solve and develop answers with minimal direction, capitalizing on opportunities to learn and add value.

Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Outlook, Bloomerang, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, graphic design platforms, website management, etc.

Able to work well independently and collaborate within a group structure as a team player with all departments.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings.

Oversee archival and storage services of digital and printed assets.
