Base Pay Range : $80,000 - $115,000 per year Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom machinery, tooling, and automation systems for fabrication and forming. Diagnose and resolve issues with existing tooling and mechanical systems. Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and prepare bills‑of‑materials. Support testing, documentation, and training for new designs entering production. Evaluate material choices and perform basic cost analysis. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Qualifications Associate degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 0–2 years experience for entry‑level; 3–5 years for mid‑level roles in engineering or machine design. Strong proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
