Full Time Overview

Marquette University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position to teach three undergraduate course sections per semester within the Marketing Department of the College of Business Administration during the 2026‑2027 school year. Courses will include Introduction to Marketing and Marketing Management (capstone course). Responsibilities

Conduct research and collaborate within the department. Assist with undergraduate advising. Follow the course syllabus and teaching plans. Instruct, manage, and supervise students professionally. Develop and deliver course content using lectures, discussions, role plays, simulations, and other experiential learning activities. Prepare and administer quizzes, exams, and projects. Evaluate and grade student work in a timely and constructive manner. Maintain a minimum of three office hours per course per week. Stimulate and encourage class discussions to foster critical thinking and application of sales concepts. Maintain accurate records of student performance. Be available and responsive to student questions and support needs. Remain current with professional and academic trends in sales and marketing. Qualifications

Earned a doctorate or terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high-quality research. Experience teaching at the college level with skills consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation. Industry experience is a plus but not required. Application Instructions
