Marketing Operations Coordinator
Join O'Reilly Auto Parts as a Marketing Operations Coordinator, coordinating the development, creation, and implementation of various professional customer marketing projects and efforts.
Essential Job Functions
Implement all professional marketing materials, answer questions, and monitor results of programs.
Coordinate professional customer sale event/flyer creation process.
Work with graphics team to ensure accurate changes are made in a timely manner.
Work with Pricing and Merchandise Departments to ensure accurate price points are featured on the ad/flyer.
Work with Inventory Control and Purchasing Departments to ensure adequate stock is supplied to stores and distribution centers.
Coordinate and plan all team meetings associated with the event.
Work with Sales, Merchandise and Marketing teams to create effective publications including shop specials, quarterly toolbox, commodity flyer and other sales tools as needed.
Proof all professional ads for accuracy.
Oversee all communications to various departments for the execution of professional customer sale distribution.
Maintain project checklist to ensure all steps are completed as needed in the determined time frames for all events.
Review and collaborate with Merchandise and Sales Departments to ensure all marketing agreements are uploaded to SupplyLine/VFR.
Recap and distribute internal communications for flyer proofing and Inventory Control planning meetings.
Assist with special department projects as needed.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Required:
High school diploma.
Experience with and knowledge of Excel, Access, and Word.
Experience in data entry and 10‑key.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Must present a professional company image, positive attitude, and be comfortable in a team‑oriented environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Ability to work with multiple departments effectively.
Must be able to lift packages up to 40 lbs.
Desired:
Several years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Sales Specialist in a retail‑based store.
Knowledge of promotions and sale implementation.
Understanding of our corporate structure, logistic, purchasing and inventory control systems.
Marketing or Communications degree.
