The Advancement and Marketing Specialist supports Ozarka College’s mission by assisting with marketing initiatives and public relation efforts. This position plays a key role in enhancing the College’s visibility, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting the Advancement Office’s strategic goals. The Advancement and Marketing Specialist helps ensure consistent, compelling communication across digital and traditional platforms while supporting events campaigns, and outreach activities. Advancement & Donor Relations

Maintain and update donor databases, tracking contributions, pledges, and engagement history Prepare acknowledgment letters, donor reports, and related communications Conduct research on prospective donors, grant opportunities, and funding trends Marketing & Communications

Design and develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and digital graphics Manage content creation for the College’s website, social media channels, email newsletters, and press releases Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms and materials Assist with photography, videography, and editing for promotional content Analyze marketing performance metrics and provide reports to leadership Represent the Advancement Office at college and community functions when needed Administrative & Office Support

Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and tracking expenses related to marketing and advancement initiatives Maintain organized digital and physical files, project records, and media archives Provide administrative support to the Advancement office Required Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered Strong writing, editing, and communication skills Experience with graphic design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Familiarity with social media management and digital content creation Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively Professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or fundraising environments Knowledge of donor management systems or CRM platforms Event planning or public relations experience Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation Creative problem-solving abilities Commitment to the mission and values of Ozarka College Ability to represent the College positively to donors, alumni, and community partners Position will remain open until the appropriate applicant has been selected.
