The Senior Gas Marketing Representative will be responsible for managing and optimizing natural gas supply, scheduling, and transportation activities across multiple basins. This role requires both technical expertise and commercial awareness to ensure efficient daily operations, maximize margin opportunities, and strengthen WTG’s relationships with counterparties and pipelines.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong organizational skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications Duties/Responsibilities
Scheduling, Trading, & Transportation
Manage daily and monthly gas purchases, sales, and nominations across multiple pipelines and EBBs
Work closely with traders, shippers, operations, and accounting to ensure seamless execution of business activities
Cross-train with other schedulers to provide backup, coverage, and rotation schedules
Monitor pipelines for OFOs, constraints, or maintenance events, and adjust strategies as needed
Manage OBAs and maintain imbalances within tolerance levels
Coordinate with pipelines on transport requests, pressure information, and new interconnect opportunities
Provide backup support for schedulers and traders as required
Commercial & Strategic Impact
Identify market opportunities and support trading strategies to optimize margins
Analyze market fundamentals (pricing, supply/demand, pipeline dynamics) to inform decision-making
Assist with contract negotiations and ensure compliance with commercial agreements
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, pipelines, and industry partners
Required Skills/Abilities
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Collaborative and professional approach to team and external relationships
Resilient and solutions-oriented, able to perform under pressure in dynamic market conditions
Reliable, proactive, and consistently present in the Dallas office
Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel preferred)

GIS platforms such as Google Earth (or similar)
Education and Experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in natural gas scheduling, trading, or transportation
Strong understanding of natural gas pricing and market dynamics
Working knowledge of pipeline operations and capacity across major U.S. basins (Permian, Midcon, Gulf Coast preferred)
Bachelor’s degree required (relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
