Job Title: Interior Designer
Join our dynamic team as an Interior Designer, where you will have the opportunity to revise drawings, presentations, and renderings under the guidance of a lead designer. You will assist in preparing implementation document sets, conduct site surveys, and help develop interior concepts based on client visions. Your role will involve research and coordination with vendors, as well as contributing to communication with various disciplines to ensure comprehensive project requirements. Your participation in product presentations and the review of RFIs and submittals during the Construction Administration Phase will keep you at the forefront of industry trends.
Responsibilities
Revise drawings, presentations, and renderings as assigned under the direction of the lead designer.
Assist in preparing implementation document sets, including interior plans, fixture plans, elevations, and details.
Complete site surveys, field verification, and test fit plans.
Develop interior concepts based on client vision, project scope, and architectural concept.
Conduct research for the project team, including conceptual, site, client, and materials research.
Coordinate with vendors and product manufacturers during finish sample procurement and selection.
Communicate with other disciplines, consultants, and contractors to incorporate all information into project requirements.
Assist in the review of RFIs and submittals during the Construction Administration Phase.
Participate in product presentations to maintain knowledge of industry drivers, products, and materials.
Essential Skills
Professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
On the path to NCIDQ certification.
Typically 5-7 years of experience in interior design.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign, and 3D modeling software.
Strong understanding of space planning, interior architecture, schematic design, and design development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
US Citizen.
Basic understanding of codes and ADA.
Client interfacing personality.
Work Environment This position offers a flexible work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will be part of an international firm with a diverse portfolio across multiple disciplines, including healthcare, sports, K-12, hospitality, and life sciences. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
