Lead – Media and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
First Solar is looking for a Lead – Media and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) to support our public affairs strategy. This role plays a critical part in enhancing situational awareness, monitoring critical developments, and synthesizing disparate information into cohesive narratives that inform the company’s positions, strategic decision‑making, and executive communications.

Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, international relations, political science, journalism, or a related field.
Fluency in English.
2–3 years of experience in media relations, intelligence analysis, or strategic communications.
Experience in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments preferred.
Working knowledge of Putonghua/Mandarin is a bonus.

Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Demonstrated interest in news, policy, and geopolitics.
Experience with media monitoring and OSINT tools.
Proficiency in AI tools for research and content development.

Essential Responsibilities
Actively monitor global news, policy developments, industry data, and geopolitical trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
Gather and analyze open‑source intelligence to support enterprise‑wide situational awareness.
Draft and edit media materials, executive talking points, and briefing documents.
Support the execution of media relations strategies, including media monitoring and engagement tracking.
Use AI tools to enhance research, content creation, and situational analysis.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and intelligence outputs.
Maintain awareness of brand reputation and media narratives relevant to First Solar.
Contribute to internal reporting and executive summaries on key developments.
