JOB DESCRIPTION: The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for internal and external communications across multiple properties. This individual must be proficient in digital literacy, analytics, and multimedia software programs. The position oversees social media, mobile app development, digital advertising coordination, and the organization’s overall digital footprint to enhance engagement and brand awareness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates website content updates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.

Manages and executes the timely scheduling and placement of digital advertising across internal and external signage; collaborates with vendors to coordinate and provide artwork for billboards and other advertising displays.

Build awareness of our brand in all digital and media outlets.

Keeps abreast of online trends and emerging technologies.

Recommends target audiences and proposes effective methods of digital communication.

Reports monthly to the Marketing Director on digital performance metrics including reach, engagement, conversion, and overall effectiveness; provides insights to improve performance, depth of engagement, and ROI. Conducts ongoing SEO and SEM efforts to enhance discoverability and site traffic. Reviews the company’s digital footprint and provides regular updates with recommendations for improvement.

Coordinates mobile app development and ongoing maintenance, ensuring content and functionality remains current and effective.

Identifies new and relevant social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to expand digital reach and engagement.

Implements digital file management systems, creates and enforces a consistent naming convention, and trains team members to ensure organization and accessibility.

Creates and documents standard operating processes for digital media, overseeing rollout and ongoing management.

Maintains a flexible schedule to attend and capture photos or video content at key events for social sharing and content library creation.

Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.

Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.

Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.

Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Is sensitive to Native American Culture.

Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.

Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments, locations, and teams.

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Strong leadership, teamwork, and coordination skills to manage internal and external communications.

Skilled in digital content creation and coordination with vendors to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely execution.

Strong understanding of social media strategy, SEO, SEM, and analytics platforms.

Proficiency with file management systems and workflow documentation.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physically capable of sitting and walking for long periods of time.

Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required:

Associate’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.

Education Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

One to two years’ related experience. 2 years of minimum casino experience preferred but not required.

Computer Skills:

Must have strong computer skills.

Certificates & Licenses:

Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Salary: $41,080 - $64,251
