A global leader in evidence-based nutrition and metabolic health is seeking a

Science Writer

to support strategic communication, product storytelling and scientific messaging across the business. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and science, helping translate complex concepts into clear, accurate and compelling content for a wide range of audiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a solid understanding of human physiology, nutrition and health sciences. They can interpret scientific information quickly, communicate it convincingly, and shape narratives that support brand, product and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Scientific Storytelling

Develop high-quality, persuasive written content including product narratives, scientific summaries, white papers, blogs, articles and marketing collateral.

Translate scientific research, clinical findings and technical data into engaging, accessible language without compromising accuracy.

Write for multiple audiences: consumers, distributors, sales teams, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Research & Interpretation

Review peer-reviewed literature, clinical data, biological pathways and ingredient science to ensure all content is grounded in credible evidence.

Distill complex concepts into digestible insights that strengthen product claims and marketing strategy.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with R&D, marketing, sales and regulatory teams to ensure scientific consistency and alignment across all materials.

Support internal subject‑matter experts in preparing presentations, technical explanations and training content.

Work closely with U.S.-based teams, including senior leaders, to maintain the scientific voice of the brand.

Quality & Brand Alignment

Uphold high standards of scientific integrity while crafting accessible and commercially effective messaging.

Ensure all communications follow regulatory guidelines for supplements, nutrition products and health claims.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in biology, nutrition, biochemistry, health sciences, journalism or a related field.

Strong writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and persuasively.

Experience in marketing, communications, copywriting or content development for science‑related fields.

Ability to conduct literature reviews and critically evaluate scientific evidence.

Comfortable working with subject‑matter experts and turning technical discussions into audience‑ready content.

Preferred

Familiarity with nutritional supplements, functional foods or health and wellness industries.

Experience collaborating with R&D or scientific teams.

Background in e‑commerce, digital marketing or consumer health storytelling.

Ability to work effectively with U.S.-based teams; Japanese language familiarity is a plus but not required.
