Hours:
~20 hours/week (Flexible schedule within business hours)

Nashville, TN (Remote / Hybrid Options)
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular site audits using tools like SEMrush.
Fix technical errors (broken links, crawl errors, speed issues, schema markup implementation).
Optimize existing content (metadata, headers, internal linking) based on keyword research.
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) for various clients.
Monitor local rankings and maintain citation consistency.
Optimize content structure to increase visibility in AI-generated answers (Google SGE/AI Overviews, ChatGPT).
Monitor performance using Google Search Console (GSC) and GA4.
Create monthly reports that translate traffic data into understandable insights.
Track all tasks and updates in our Project Management software.
Log all hours accurately in our time-tracking software (required for payment).
Required Skills & Experience
Location: Must reside in the Greater Nashville area.
Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (Agency experience is a plus).
Tool Stack: Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one major SEO tool (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
Modern Search Knowledge: You understand that "keyword stuffing" is dead and that E‑E‑A‑T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) is king.
Communication: Excellent written English. You can explain why traffic dropped without using confusing jargon.
Schedule & Availability As an independent contractor, you must be available to communicate and complete tasks during business hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST).
