We are seeking an ambitious, skilled and highly organized individual to act as Account Coordinator. Recent college graduates with public relations, social media, marketing and communications degrees and relevant internship experience are preferred. Communication expertise, outstanding time management skills, and a passion for learning about all things marketing are essential.

The Account Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the account management team to do what it takes to help clients reach their goals to such an extent that they wonder how they’d be successful without us.

Qualifications

4-year degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations

Course work of basic advertising principles including both traditional and new media

Understand basic principles of marketing, business management and sales

Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities include some or all of the following:

Assist the Account Services Team in the daily servicing of their clients, client work, and support other agency activities on an as-needed basis

Assist in the management of timelines and deadlines for advertising creation, production and trafficking

Proofreading data and materials

Provide administrative assistance and support to the Account Services Team

Juggle multiple projects, products, and personalities with on-going attention to detail

Assist the Account Services Team with trafficking of media materials and creative; i.e. print ads, web banners, digital outdoor, etc.

Enter project information into project management system (Workamajig)

Provide support to traffic/production, creative, media, PR and social media efforts

Manage filing system and organization of Account Service Team’s documents

Maintain status reports, build estimates, capture meeting notes, coordinate calendars

Build strong, lasting agency relationships based on progress during internship

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great listener/understands the power of internal communication

Passion for learning, self motivated and willing to take initiative

Team-player

Strong analytical, and interpersonal skills required

Promising project management skills, with consistent follow through

Proficient in a Mac environment

Adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with exceptional skills in Excel; also competent in Keynote

Work under tight deadlines and multi-task

Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
