About the Role
HARMAN Embedded Audio (HEA) empowers our partners by providing innovative technologies and end‑to‑end audio solutions, combining the legacy of legendary brands with a comprehensive suite of engineering, operations, and co‑marketing services.
As an Account Executive for HEA, you will lead account management and customer acquisition efforts to achieve both short‑and long‑term revenue and profitability goals for assigned accounts. You will collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Program Management, and Marketing teams to drive results and deliver excellence in a dynamic environment.
What You Will Do
Drive revenue and EBIT growth across select Americas accounts.
Identify and pursue new customers by aligning HARMAN's technologies with customer needs and delivering tailored value propositions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop business cases, respond to RFQs, deliver proposals, product roadmaps, supply plans, and marketing programs.
Plan and execute key customer business reviews, technology demos, product launches, and co‑branding events.
Support the Sales Director in establishing annual sales goals, preparing sales forecasts, and implementing strategic sales plans.
Prepare monthly sales performance reports by account and develop actions to address potential shortfalls.
Manage customer account receivables.
What You Need To Be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, Software, or related technical field.
10+ years of experience in B2B Account Management, Business Development, or Technical Sales, with success selling deeply technical solutions to business and engineering audiences.
Proven track record of generating and growing new business in technical B2B markets.
Prior experience in developing and selling audio systems, DSP, algorithms, SaaP/SaaS, finished goods, hardware, components, and licensing.
A passion for innovation, creativity, and a willingness to be hands‑on and think outside the box.
Self‑directed with a proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience working in a global matrix organization across diverse teams, time zones, and cultures.
Bonus Points If You Have
Existing relationships with leading consumer electronics customers in the region.
Experience in licensing, revenue sharing, and creative business models.
Specific experience in one or more of the following fields: acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, systems engineering.
Product Management, Product Planning, or Product Marketing experience.
Master's degree in a related field or MBA.
What Makes You Eligible
You are willing to travel up to 50% for domestic and international travel.
This role is eligible for full‑time remote work with occasional trips to the Northridge, CA (24‑hour notice) office when required.
Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay Transparency $113,250 - $166,100
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
