About This Position We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Vertical Marketing Specialist to join our team supporting the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing and Semiconductor sectors. In this role, you will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing programs that drive brand visibility, engagement, and qualified leads. This position offers the opportunity to work within dynamic vertical markets and cooperate with dedicated colleagues across departments. You will play a key role in connecting marketing strategy with sales success and helping shape how Advantech engages with advanced business sectors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inbound and outbound marketing, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have proven experience in multi‑channel marketing tactics.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies within budget across digital and traditional channels that adhere to brand guidelines and support overall business goals.

Collaborate with sales to understand key targets, develop tailored marketing materials, and support pipeline growth through events, content, and digital initiatives.

Plan and coordinate campaigns across email, social media, and third‑party paid advertising.

Analyze and report on campaign performance, including metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Manage and support in‑person events and/or industry tradeshows, working cross‑functionally to ensure successful planning and execution.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify evolving industry trends and opportunities.

Work with the full marketing team to develop visually appealing and impactful marketing materials.

Help manage website content (e.g., landing pages, articles) ensuring content is up‑to‑date and optimized for SEO.

Present campaign outcomes to team leadership and support annual strategic planning tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or related field.

3+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.

Strong understanding of marketing channels, including — but not limited to — social media, direct email, SEO, and paid advertising.

Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM software (e.g., Marketing Cloud Account Engagement [Pardot], HubSpot, Salesforce).

Experience with trade show management, from concept to completion.

Proficient with common digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, SEMrush) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and set realistic deadlines.

Experience extracting business insights from data to identify trends and optimize ROI.

Positive attitude, able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑centered environment, learn quickly and adapt to new systems, processes, and programs.

Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Experience in a high‑tech field and/or specific experience with a technology manufacturer is a strong plus.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
