Job Overview The Artistic Director of the Children and Youth Division provides visionary leadership, artistic excellence, and educational oversight for the School’s core programs. Working closely with the Dean and Artistic Team, the director nurtures young dancers’ creativity, technique, and love of dance while overseeing artistic operations, curriculum design, faculty leadership, and performance programming for students at all levels.
Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership, artistic excellence, and educational oversight for the Children and Youth Division.
Collaborate with the Dean and Artistic Team to uphold and refine the division’s vision.
Oversee artistic operations, curriculum design, faculty leadership, and performance programming for students of all levels.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of management or leadership experience.
Minimum ten years of teaching experience with children and youth.
Degree in Education, Dance Education, or related field (BFA in dance preferred).
Professional dance experience preferred.
