Position Summary The Marketing Manager supports and executes strategic marketing plans by independently managing and delivering marketing tactics for defined sector(s) or enterprise initiatives. The role positions the sector’s value proposition and design acumen through high‑quality, on‑brand content, campaigns, and communications.
Responsibilities
Develop and elevate compelling storytelling across media formats, including integrated campaigns, project storytelling, conference and event support, client‑facing award programs, and marketing asset management.
Research, write, proofread, and edit high‑quality content while championing DLR Group’s brand standards, voice, and style.
Lead editorial content‑gathering interviews and workshops with thought leaders across the firm, driving timely and effective deliverables.
Develop and maintain on‑brand sector content, including web‑based storytelling and sector pages on dlrgroup.com.
Become a market expert by tracking sector, competitor, and broader marketing trends to inform messaging and strategy.
Contribute to KPI tracking and performance measurement that demonstrates the impact of sector‑based marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with digital teams to publish campaigns and initiatives across digital platforms and emerging media.
Partner with graphic designers to develop custom graphics and templates for marketing campaigns.
Work with media managers to promote campaigns and increase reach and visibility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, brand, or communications.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across concurrent deadlines with agility and focus.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Suite (including PowerPoint and Teams).
Self‑starter mentality who can calmly manage multiple projects and produce high‑quality materials under tight deadlines.
Critical thinking skills to identify, prioritize, and execute projects.
Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring work visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the AEC or design industry.
Familiarity with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint (preferred).
Demonstrated growth mindset with a desire to continually improve processes, outcomes, and marketing impact.
Strong project and people management skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
