About the Role We are seeking a
Commercial Interior Designer
to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail‑oriented designer who enjoys collaborating across teams and bringing spaces to life from concept through installation. You will work closely with sales, clients, architects, and builders to deliver code‑compliant, budget‑conscious, and inspiring design solutions.
What You’ll Do
Partner with the
Sales Team
to understand project goals, scope, timelines, and budget requirements
Collaborate with clients, architects, and builders to define how spaces should function, feel, and perform
Analyze space utilization, circulation patterns, and user needs
Develop concept sketches, layouts, and visual presentations to communicate design intent
Specify approved furnishings, finishes, materials, and décor that align with brand standards and project goals
Produce detailed plans and final design documentation using industry‑standard design software
Conduct site visits as needed to support project execution and ensure client satisfaction
Stay current on commercial design trends, materials, and emerging technologies
Support additional design and project‑related tasks as assigned
Join forces with an established and strong internal design team to maintain clear communication across project scope, timeliness, and execution
What You Bring
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills
A refined design sensibility with a strong command of proportion, color, and aesthetics
Ability to translate concepts into compelling visual presentations
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Confidence presenting to clients both virtually and in person
Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
Demonstrates professional sense of Fun
Technical Skills
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with
Configura CET Commercial Interiors
AutoCAD and/or Revit
experience is a plus
Familiarity with
ProjectMatrix
is a plus
Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field (preferred)
1+ year of related commercial or interior design experience (preferred)
Configura Suite and CET Commercial Interiors experience strongly preferred
Interior Design certification is a plus
