About the Role Malin is seeking a dynamic Brand & Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Brand & Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving brand awareness and managing our communications strategy to ensure consistency and engagement. In this role, you will shape clear, compelling, and consistent messaging that communicates our intralogistics solutions and value proposition. Working closely with marketing, sales, customer success, human resources, and leadership teams, you will holistically support the brand and marketing communications efforts to drive business growth.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Brand Consistency: Act as gatekeeper for materials to be in compliance with company brand requirements with respect to design, layout, messaging, and positioning, building consistent brand identity and recognition. Oversee brand guidelines and support internal teams and external partners in brand compliance.
Messaging: Translate complex intralogistics and automation concepts into clear, customer-focused messaging. Develop storytelling and messaging for our key intralogistics solutions.
Content: Develop and execute a content strategy and editorial calendar that aligns with Malin’s brand, business objectives, and target audience. Create and edit high-quality content—including social media, website copy, case studies, blogs, brochures, sales enablement resources, presentations, and newsletters—that drive engagement and conversion. Optimize content for SEO, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and adherence to Malin’s brand guidelines.
Design: Assist with design, layout, and production of presentations, graphics, and visual materials. Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and stakeholders to deliver visually rich, multimedia content that elevates our storytelling.
Marketing Communications: Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, plan and execute internal and external communication initiatives aligned with company strategy. Contribute to messaging, positioning, market research, and GTM planning as a key member of the marketing team.
Social Media: Oversee and grow our owned social media channels, including LinkedIn and Meta; monitor engagement and analyze performance.
Media & Public Relations: Support media relations activities and manage communication with external agencies when required. Monitor brand perception, media coverage, and communication performance.
Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams and assist in execution for product launches, campaigns, tradeshows, and customer events. Coordinate with sales teams to ensure messaging and content supports customer engagement and lead generation.
Digital Asset Management: Maintain an organized content library to ensure easy access to and version control of approved assets.
Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on content performance, drawing insights to continuously improve audience engagement and content impact.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations
3+ years’ experience in B2B Content Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
Strong expertise in corporate communications.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of content formats
Collaborative, proactive, and detail oriented. High level of accuracy
Solid project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proven experience supporting demand generation, social media, customer engagement and sales enablement initiatives
Proficiency in graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), content distribution, SEO, content management systems, and brand guidelines
Experience using analytics tools to assess performance and inform content decisions
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership, employees and vendors
Proven ability to develop and execute structured communication plans
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
