Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Specialist at the Wisconsin Union is responsible for implementing the strategy, marketing direction, and day-to-day management of marketing tactics for the Wisconsin Union. This unique position supports the organization's goal to engage, inspire, connect, and raise awareness of the arts by working collaboratively with students and staff in a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted environment. Building upon the core responsibilities of a standard Specialist, this role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to deliver more advanced, strategic marketing solutions. This position is for professionals who have deepened their craft and possess specialized knowledge in specific business units, industries, or channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic marketing plans based on research and established strategies.
Collect, analyze, prepare, summarize, and disseminate data and trends relevant to ongoing or future marketing activities.
Develop, implement, and disseminate marketing materials through various communication mediums utilizing appropriate technologies and techniques.

Compensation The starting salary for the position is $60,000 and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in full‑lifecycle campaign management, focusing on marketing campaign and impact analysis.
Experience with automation platforms such as Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent software to develop and implement marketing plans.
Proven success in lead generation, demonstrating the ability to design and execute strategies that drive leads and revenue growth.
Account management experience. Ability to develop partnerships with unit managers and understand their operations and financial status. Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing communications plans and evaluate their effectiveness.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of marketing, market research, advertising, graphic design, website development, video & digital marketing and print production.
Demonstrated track record in writing marketing copy and creating marketing materials.
Skilled in using digital metrics and performance data to optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supervising, mentoring junior staff members.
Experience with analysis tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Experience marketing in a higher education environment is a plus.
Education Bachelor's Degree preferred.
